Gdańsk Shipyard Group at 4th International Maritime Congress in Szczecin

More than 1000 participants from region – Poland and Europe –met in Pomeranian Dukes’ Castle Turing first Day of 4th International Maritime Congress in Szczecin. Lecture within Panel I – The future of the shipyard, Offshore was delivered by Adam Zaczeniuk – Vice-President of the Board of Gdańsk Shipyard Ltd. And GSG Towers LLC.

Grand opening of Maritime Congress was performed by:  Paweł Brzezicki – Undersecretary of State in the Maritime Economy and Inland Navigation Ministry, Krzysztof Kozłowski – Undersecretary of State in the Maritime Economy and Inland Navigation Ministry, Piotr Jania - Voivode of West Pomerania Voivodeship, Olgierd Geblewicz – Marshall of West Pomerania Voivodship and Piotr Krzystek – President of the city of Szczecin.

Adam Zaczeniuk in his lecture spoke about profitable alternative for shipbuilding, pointing as example one of major entities in Gdańsk Shipyard Group – GSG Towers. Audience heard in what way newly established company had managed to achieve world’s TOP 5 position in wind towers manufacturing in just few years.

Compactisation, growth in production efficiency, innovations and human resources above All of that are main elements creating our final business success – as a summary said Adam Zaczeniuk.

Special guest of this year edition was Prime Minister Beata Szydło. Participation in congress many guests important in maritime industry signify strong potential of this economy sector and allows to look into the future with optimism in context Gdańsk Shipyard Group’s development plans.
