Transportation of towers using the Paolo de Nicola method

This solution involves the transportation of a section of a wind tower tens of meters in length by two mobile gantry cranes synchronized with each other over the radio and controlled from a single console. This method enables the transportation of huge parts of towers in an efficient manner, e.g. between the manufacturing facility and the painting unit.

Automated prefabrication system (micro panels)

This technology enables the production of stiffened steel strips on a line using technologically advanced welding robots. The staff is only required to place the components for welding in an appropriate manner. The robot makes a 3D scan of the entire structure and then welds it according to the digital design. As a result, a finished structure is obtained with high-quality welds and high-precision dimensions. This process is much more efficient than the traditional manual welding system.
